Alfa 2600 Spyder Photoshoot

This Photoshoot was for the same restoration garage as the Bentley Blue Train. The owner wanted the photoshoot to look natural (no large spotlights on just the car) but to keep details in the shadowy sections of the car. This was done using off camera flashes which were carefully balanced with ambient light to result [...]

1929 Bentley Blue Train Photoshoot

This Photoshoot was for a local restoration garage. Many months were spent painstakingly creating 90% of this car from scratch by their amazing workshop crew. The owner wanted the photoshoot to look natural (no large spotlights on just the car) but to keep details in the shadowy sections of the car. This was done using [...]

Steve Caie’s 1999 MX5 Photoshoot

The Photoshoot was for the MX5Nutz Calender and was a very interesting experience that took place at the dead of night on a cold winter weekend. Lots of oddities happened. Everything from becoming stranded temporarily due to the amazing stance of the car and a steep incline, right up to us trying to get the [...]

Why Choose Ignition Images?

I have been perusing my love of Photography and Cars for a number of years.

After having learnt how to correctly light various objects using a proper off camera flash set up in my University course I applied that to a Photoshoot I did of my car.

Since then I have been constantly pushing myself to stay at the forefront of photographic techniques and try to recreate various lighting techniques found in top Automotive magazines.

All Photoshoot packages are a personal service unique to each client. If you would like more detail shots of a section of the car you love the most or wider shots taken at your favourite location just let me know and I will do my best to cater to these needs.

Ultimately the photographs will be yours at the end, you may as well like them!
